The London Hafters was a pilot project, made in collaboration between artist Nikki Hafter and her mother, Nog Hafter in 2019. The project aimed to use tools such as photo-elicitation, reminiscence, identity-mapping, and intergenerational exchange to find out more about Nikki and Nog’s identities as situated within their family history. Nikki and Nog went on to produce a storymap featuring images and audio from a walk in which they retraced the imagined steps of Henry Hafter, Nog's grandfather and Nikki's great grandfather, from from Upper Thames Street to Liverpool Street Station.
